About Me

I’m a self-taught platform engineer with 15 years of experience spanning IT operations, systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and financial technology. My career started in help desk and systems support, then evolved into building and operating production platforms for banking, commerce, trading, and investment workflows.

My path into technology was not traditional. I did not formally study computer science or finance. I taught myself how to code by building websites, experimenting with systems, and learning through real-world problems. That foundation helped me move from support roles into cloud engineering, platform engineering, and eventually financial technology, where I found a strong fit at the intersection of infrastructure, software, and markets.

Over the last several years, I’ve worked across firms including Capital One, Third Point, and Point72, supporting cloud platforms, quant infrastructure, trading systems, data pipelines, and front-office technology. I’ve also earned my SIE and Series 57 licenses, worked in proprietary trading, and consulted for hedge funds and asset managers on scalable trading infrastructure.
